What is all this?

I enjoy reading books, riding my bicycles and eating biscuits.

And this is my blog.

  1. You saved me from a very bad day. I laughed so hard at the story of your first “ride plus one” that I had tears and had to eventually go take out my contact lenses… Thanks for that although I am sure you didn’t originally intend to rescue a between jobs veterinary nurse from boredom and despair!

    • I’m glad I was able to cheer you up, and hope that you are not between jobs for too much longer.
If you’ve got time on your hands and are bored, I can reommend going for a ride on your bike, then coming back and making a cup to tea and settling down with a good book and a biscuit. Lovely.

  2. Hi,

I found your blog by accident, but a happy one. I live in Glebe and I too asked for Christmas a bubble machine to put on my bike! So weird. It took me a while to do the blog post on it but check it out here:

Have to bump into one of these days with bubbles streaming 🙂

    +1

  4. I miss the biscuit reviews – have you now reviewed every single biscuit available in Australia? Maybe people can start to send you biscuits from all over the world?

    • Sorry there hasn’t been much of late.

Another biscuit review will be up in a few days, but it’s true I’m running out of Arnott’s varieties. To date I’ve been rather brand loyal, so I’m not sure what I’ll do when I’ve done them all…

      • You should try combining packets together – I’d like to hear your thoughts on a raspberry shortcake mixed with a chocolate chip fudge. Feels like limitless potential.

  5. Love that you are still going strong in the biscuit-reviewing department!! Always a priority!

  6. I have just discovered Scallywags, from the NQR which has opened across the road. And because I wanted to find out more about them, I found your blog which is as satisfying a treat as the biscuits. Thanks.

  7. I stumbled upon your blog when I sought google’s help in finding out exactly what an Arnott’s Granita biscuit is. I ended spending some time here… great blog, I love a mix between the mundane and the profound!

    • Thanks for stumbling in.!

  8. Hi , How nice to come across this Blog. what a lovely read! .I just sat down after a day out…tired and hungry…having a cuppa and a scotch finger biscuit or two…or three..anyway, love books and bikes too, and,
enjoying your blog. Check you out again. Oh, by the way,I think what brought me to your blog…I was surfing the net looking for history of biscuit companies and particularly ” peanut brittles..” not sure if they were Brockhoff , Arnotts or Nabisco…do you know what happened to them. Guess with all this stuff on peanuts being bad for some people..cheers, Isabella
